Moses spent 40 days on Mount Sinai, receiving God’s laws. The Israelites became impatient and wanted to worship a god they could see, so Aeron made them a calf out of gold for them to worship.
We may think, “I’ll never worship an idol!”, but did you know that anything or anyone that you place above God is an idol?
Your choices, actions, and words show what you really worship. Be honest with yourself. If something else, someone else, or even your self is more important to you than God, it’s an idol. Let God be the centre of everything you do!

Our Bible memory verse for this week is,
Matthew 4:10 … You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.
